The past few days have been filled with fun, learning and excitement during our first Spredfast Social Summit. Our customers helped make the conference one the most engaging events we”™ve seen in the social space. Thanks to you all who filled the W Hotel and social channels with social knowledge. (do a quick search on Twitter for #sfsummit to get a sense for the great conversations that took place)
We have a special appreciation for quality social engagement. We know smart marketing takes thought. And sometimes humor. One customer in particular took engagement to a higher level with a witty meme they brought to Austin just for Summit.
The team at Aramark knows first hand people engage at conferences using hashtags. They decided to use a little irreverent humor to make up their own meta-meme, #flyingcadillac, to bring a few laughs to the crowd.
The inspiration came from attending years of social events where people create big, audacious concepts that signal the “next best thing” in social. For more on the idea, tweet @aramark, @bmarks or @thedigitaltom ““ we”™re sure they would enjoy explaining it and continue the social engagement.
