Experience the White House Holidays with Fellow Americans


Throughout the month of December, President Obama and the First Lady welcome people from around the country to visit the White House for the holidays.  An estimated 65,000 people—phones in hand—will walk the halls and admire the decorations, which include 26 Christmas trees and a 420-pound gingerbread home. 

So how can the other 316 million Americans share in the joy? We collaborated with The White House to create an experience that allows people to view “A Children’s Winter Wonderland” (this year’s holiday theme) through the eyes of their fellow Americans. Visitors can use the official hashtag #WHHolidays to share photos and video from the tour.

The White House is known as “The People’s House”. Inviting visitors to share their experiences socially gives a voice to the people, letting them share the story of holiday celebrations in our nation’s capitol.
