How We Get Filtered & Moderated Tweets on TV

How do you sort through 4,000 tweets per minute, filter, moderate and broadcast tweets (or data visualizations) on a show? This is a behind-the-scenes flow of how tweets get on TV, which has been done for shows such as NBC The Voice, BET, CNN, MSNBC, and many other clients we've served.

To get Tweets on TV requires our platform for real-time sourcing, rules, moderation and API or hosted visualization that convert into TV broadcast. We have worked with graphics systems from Avid, Ross, Chyron, Miranda, Orad and Harris. Or we host web-based visualizations that convert to TV through CSI Scan Do or Folsom.

We created this graphic to help tell the story for TV producers, social directors and technical/graphics engineers so we're all on the same page (literally)! Feel free to share and distribute.
