Review the Tapes: Lessons from 2012 to help you win in 2013

By this point, many of us have taken the field in 2013 with clear eyes and full hearts. We have returned to our laptops (or other shiny new gadgets) refreshed and with resolve to be smarter social marketers in the new year. If, however, you are looking for more inspiration to get in the game, one of the best ways to improve is to study the game tapes.

We recently shared our 2012 Social Engagement Exam Infographic, which provided a play-by-play of how social brands activated internal resources to engage external audiences on social channels. Today we are sharing four new resources, "Social in 2012 at a Glance", which look at Structure and Organization, Publishing and Activity, Engagement and Interaction, and Reach and Network Size.  Consider these the color commentary that helps you get the big picture.  Check them out to:

    • Take a deeper dive into social business trends and network updates that shaped the past year
    • Learn how smart social brands AARP, CNN, Starbucks, and Whole Foods engaged social communities in 2012
    • Commit to key resolutions to stay social in 2013

Share these resources in your next huddle and let us know your winning plays for social in 2013 in the comments.
