At the Speed of Life: Announcing Spredfast Summit Keynotes

If you’ve visited any of our offices lately, you’ve likely heard our team talking about marketing at the speed of life. What is it? Why is it so important? What does it take to do it really, really well? We’re having these conversations because we believe that when we ask to participate in consumers’ daily—and increasingly social—lives, we’ve got a responsibility to keep up.

The speed of life at Spredfast these days is supersonic. It’s hard to believe that we’re only two months away from our 3rd Annual Spredfast Summit. This year, there will be a lot of new faces, as we bring together marketers from the world’s best brands, agencies, and media companies to continue the conversation about marketing at the speed of life.

We constantly seek inspiration from a broad array of sources. It is with that spirit in mind that we are announcing not one, but three exciting keynotes at this year’s summit. We’re beyond excited for these three speakers to bring fresh perspectives to how you think about content, the social habit, and technology.

Jonah Peretti, BuzzfeedJonah Peretti, Co-founder and CEO of Buzzfeed
After closing a $50 million round with Andreessen Horowitz, BuzzFeed—and Peretti—hardly need an introduction. But, for the uninitiated, BuzzFeed is “the first true social news organization that provides a pioneering mix of breaking news, entertainment and shareable content.” We can’t wait for Jonah to share his views on content in a social age and what makes ideas spread. (Fun fact: Jonah has something in common with last year’s keynote, Arianna Huffington, he is a Co-founder of The Huffington Post.)

Charles Duhigg, The Power of HabitCharles Duhigg, Author of The Power of Habit
I am personally very excited about this one. Charles Duhigg’s book, The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business, is one of the best books I have read in the past year. I’m excited to hear Charles tailor his lessons about willpower, productivity, and replacing bad habits to our crowd of social marketers. We are all looking to develop a daily social habit internally with our teams and externally with our fans. This will be good stuff.

Lori Schwartz, Managing Partner at StoryTechLori Schwartz, Managing Partner at StoryTech
Named one of Variety’s “30 Executives Shaping the Evolution of Media and Technology,” Lori Schwartz has a unique understanding of brands, agencies, and content companies. We look forward to her insights on the habits of the consumer and the evolving marketer’s goals.
