Strategic Technology for Strategic Results: The next wave of social business

Social media marketing continues to move and mature at lightning speed for companies. We work daily with big brands achieving business results on social media. Today Forrester Research, Inc. released the The Forrester Wave: Social Relationship Platforms, Q2 2013 report analyzing the leading software solutions for brands to manage public social networks. We were excited to learn Spredfast ranked highest in the category of Strategy - criteria including vision, focus, product strategy and services, and customer satisfaction. It's validation that we continue to answer the business needs and wants of social brands. And the fact that Spredfast scored highest (a perfect score, at that!) for customer satisfaction signals that our team is the most dedicated in the market. To me, being a strategic partner to the 250+ brands we work with boils down to a select few areas.

Anyone can find a vendor. Successful brands find and embrace a partner. We wake up every day thinking about how we can help the brands we work with achieve success. That includes great technology to satisfy the complex needs of growing teams, more activity, and building relationships with more community members. It also includes working with a team that actually partners to enable, plan, and help companies be great. Every day. All day.

There are some big vendors trying to be everything to everyone. As an independent software partner in the market, our team has the ability to focus on what social brands need without piling on the kitchen sink. Technology to scale their teams. The ability to engage with their active social communities and customers. And one of the things our customer brands reported as being most pleased with in the report is measurement and reporting around social to provide visibility into its impact on their business.  

A vision for the future

We know social network updates happen early and often. We see social brands evolving at a pace rarely seen before. Both of these realities are why we plan for the long term. Avoiding "shiny object syndrome" and instead mapping out a long-term plan for how brands make social integral to their businesses. That vision spans helping the "doer's" of today while building our roadmap to bring strategists and leadership teams into the social fold.   We couldn't be more excited by Forrester's affirmation that our mission of being a trusted partner by helping our customers leverage social business connections to achieve great business results is a necessity in the eyes of the industry.
