Visualizing Brands’ Success: Spredfast Joins the Pinterest Marketing Developer Partners program

We’re excited to be an inaugural member in Pinterest’s Marketing Developer Partners (MDP) program, announced today.  This program will allow Spredfast customers to optimize their Pinterest strategies through actionable analytics and publishing within the Spredfast platform, thanks to Spredfast’s access to Pinterest’s Content Publishing API.

Current Spredfast customers are already benefitting from our MDP status. Spredfast Conversations customers are able to schedule and publish Pins to their Boards and analyze Pin and Board performance in a new set of dashboards.

Pinterest is a key network for consumers to share their interests and discover new ones. We are excited to deliver the capabilities that will help our customers manage, scale, and understand their Pinterest communities.

All of your visual content. A single platform.

With Spredfast’s new Pinterest functionality, users can now plan and manage Pinterest content alongside all of their other social content without leaving the platform. This includes key features like scheduling and publishing Pins, and viewing Pins within in a single, cross-channel editorial calendar. Users can also execute workflows within Spredfast to create, edit, and approve pinnable content that can be stored and managed within Content Center.

Visibility into Visual Content Performance

Social marketers need access to data that helps them make informed marketing decisions. New Pinterest analytics dashboards provide insight into top performing Boards and Pins, helping Spredfast users determine which visual content resonates with their audiences. The ability to view these Pin and Board level analytics in line with all of their other social channel analytics provides users with insights that inform both their Pinterest strategy and their overall social campaign strategy.

More to Come

Pinterest is an essential network in the marketing efforts of our customers like The Container Store. “Our customers are looking for the promise of an organized life from us, and the inspiration Pinterest provides does just that,” said Kristin Steed, Social Media Manager of The Container Store.  “Pinterest is one of our highest sources of referral traffic to our website.  Our Pinterest followers are some of our most loyal customers, and they are highly engaged with our brand.”

The Marketing Developer Partners program is an exciting evolution in our relationship with Pinterest. We’ve identified the key capabilities marketers need to grow their Pinterest presence and scale marketing efforts. We look forward to continuing to work with Pinterest and exploring future integrations to deliver increased functionality and insight for our customers.
