Alli Sports (a division of NBC Sports) wanted to increase social buzz around its extreme sports event, the Dew Tour. In order to further engage the young, passionate fan base as well as generate new fans, Alli Sports decided to integrate a social media experience into its page.
By using the Mass Relevance Product Studio, the Dew Tour was able to quickly implement several social experiences on its webpage, ramping up social buzz in anticipation of an upcoming BMX and skateboarding event. A question and answer feature lets fans ask questions directly to the athletes who will be participating in the tour. A leaderboard displays the top athletes with the most social buzz in real-time. Visitors can also view social conversations featuring fans, athletes, and messages from the Dew Tour. Using CSS modifications, Alli Sports can quickly change the look and feel of the page for each upcoming Dew Tour event.
