For the biggest award show of the year, Univision wanted to create an experience that would leave a bold impact on their audience. Real-time social media visualizations were built and deployed as a part of the T-Mobile Social Lounge, making the 25th Annual Latin Music Award the most social broadcast ever.
A Spotlight Tweet with a corresponding Avatar Wall highlighted all the social buzz occurring in real-time about the event. Top trending artists, along with a photo wall, gave at-home viewers a chance to experience the excitement as the live event unfolded. The real-time visualizations were displayed on-line throughout the event and broadcasted five times on-air throughout the award show.
