Fox Sports wanted to capture real-time social buzz from its passionate soccer fan base.
Encouraging fans to Tweet with the #SurvivalSunday hashtag, Fox Sports harnessed the passion of its soccer fans. A social hub allowed fans to follow the social activity around the Premier League title race, Champions and Europa Leagues qualifications, and relegation fight. Visitors to the hub could see which games were creating the most buzz by viewing each game’s Tweets-per-minute ratio. Fans were able to click on each individual game and see the conversation being generated.
