Funny or Die was looking for a way to integrate an online video stream with an interactive social media experience.
Creating a fun twist on comedy, Funny or Die partnered with Mass Relevance for a “Twitter takeover” on their site. Roughly once a month a comedian takes over the FOD Twitter account and hosts a live Q&A session. In previous instances, comedians such as Emma Stone, Billy Eichner, Judd Apatow and Jason Biggs have participated. Mass Relevance also helped Funny or Die provide a unique twist on the Twitter takeover experience by powering a UStream conversation where comedian Ed Helms answered questions in real-time. The platform’s ability to create a beautiful and intuitive Q&A interface makes the Twitter takeovers a continued success.
