Having done a Vote For Your Favorite Stars contest before, MTV UK knew that involving their audience was a compelling way to showcase their brand. For this year, however, they wanted to visualize the results of the contest in a dynamic, fun way.
With Mass Relevance’s “Galaxy Viz”, viewers could visualize those celebrities who were trending in real-time, based on Tweets Per Minute, and overall, as shown on a Leaderboard. Further engaging viewers, fans could vote on their favorite celebrity using the hashtag #MTVParty. Viewers will stay on the edge of their seats, as results will be revealed on MTV Music in December.
